4 Days to Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi National Parks By Flight

Day One

You will use the morning flight which leaves Entebbe at 08:30hrs and reaches Kasese at 09:45hrs. On arrival at Kasese airstrip, you will be picked up by a guide from Equatorial Wild safaris who will transfer you to your place of accommodation for relaxation and lunch. After an early lunch, you will be transferred to the Kazinga Channel for a launch cruise that starts at 14:00hrs and after the launch cruise you will return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day Two

Begin your day with a cup of African coffee to energise you and raise your spirits to the nature of adventure glimmering before you. Prep yourself for an early morning game drive for around this time, animals are at their peak hours. They are moving around effortlessly, moving out of their hiding places, stretching, singing, yawning and hunting. We drive along Kisenyi via channel track where visitors encounter elephants, buffaloes, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs, lakes and a variety of Birds. We shall spend some time watching and appreciating the beauty of nature and later we return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, you will transfer by road to Bwindi impenetrable forest through the southern sector i.e Isasha this will give visitors chance to view more game.

Day Three

Arise by the morning and enjoy a well prepared breakfast that will sooth your morning taste buds. As the day beckons to you in anticipation, we expect you to embrace the events ahead with an adventurous spirit. Availed with lunch, you will be expected to report to the park headquarters before 8am for registration and general briefing. The guides will equip you with knowledge and skills that will guide you throughout the day. They will then take you through the bush, trekking through thick vegetation and walking on forest foot paths, pushing your way through the thick creepers and undergrowth to track the gorillas. (This trek can take from half an hour to 5 hours-a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes). The journey could be exhausting but if you savour the moments and enjoy every little bit of adventure and adrenaline experience, time will pass by so fast and you will not know how it did. Together with your guides, you will sit in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them grumble to each other and marvel at sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback. The experience is really amazing plus it is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas in the world today.

Day Four

After you have had breakfast to your fill, you will board your flight back to Entebbe. You will use the morning hours in which the flight sets off the ground from Kihihi at 10:55 hrs and reaches Entebbe at 11:55hrs.
